Add an access record to the job

The person surveying a site should record relevant access conditions and route changes for review by the installation lead. Store photographs with a location and date so the crew can distinguish the current entrance from an earlier visit. A general note saying “easy access” leaves too much interpretation to the day of installation.

The crew lead and equipment supplier should determine the appropriate handling method. Do not turn a product photograph into a universal recommendation for stairs, slopes, thresholds or a particular load.

After a delivery, record damaged or missing components through the shop’s normal equipment process. Keep repair and inspection decisions with qualified personnel. The useful administrative improvement is a clear record of availability and responsibility, not an improvised operating procedure.
