Start with the information
First, what object does the label identify: a slab, a part, or a packaged group? Second, which record is authoritative when the printed information disagrees with the current job? Third, who can create a replacement label, and how does the shop distinguish an obsolete one?
Fourth, what should an employee do when a label is unreadable or missing? Fifth, which information must remain accessible when the normal device or system is unavailable? Discuss the answers with production and dispatch before deciding the layout.
Make replies useful
A relevant forum contribution can explain the contributor's process, the scale of the operation, and an observed exception without exposing customer details. If describing a software feature, identify the configuration and distinguish what was tested from what was suggested by a vendor.
